Why supplement your tape backup system?
Tape backups are great except:
1) Time to recover for small restores is high . With files in a backup folder,
recovery is easy and quick.
2) Tape backups usually occur at night. You can schedule CopyCube incrementals
to run during the day so that multiple changed versions of active files are
available.
3) Manual intervention is required : tapes need to be changed. With a hard disk
backup, the process is fully automated.
4) Cost per megabyte for the new batch of massive IDE (>120gig) hard drives
beats tape prices.
Options

To protect against accidental deletion, move files to a temporary holding area
before deleting them. This preserves the original folder structure. In addition,
you can have diskjanitor send activity logs via e-mail and/or log to disk.
Scheduling
This will schedule CopyCube to run in the background on your system.
WARNING: any settings changes made to CopyCube will affect the scheduled
operation too.
You must supply an account with permission to copy the files.
Remember if the account password changes the schedule will fail.
Normally The built-in 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' account has no password and is a
local admin.
